Lis Wihl (born on August 19, 1961) was an American lawyer and author who worked for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She's provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has a regular appearance for The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File w/ Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Today. The Imus breakfast shows. Legal Lis is the Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl completed her studies at West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She is a graduate of a Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to a JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as a US attorney. She served as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was the deputy chief investigation counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She taught law as a tenured law professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. Wiehl was an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 until 2017.
