Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is the daughter of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Madekwe is English as well as her father was Nigerian. She went to The Brit School when she was 14. She graduated with a BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her first role in a film was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. The film's success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in six episodes Trexx & Flipside as Ollie. Also, the ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe also starred as the main character on How to lose friends & betray people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment 2008. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe had her official US debut on the drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series of Revenge on ABC for two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she would leave the series after making an appearance in the first season of the third. Between 2014 and 2016, she starred in Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg on June 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also had a role alongside her in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was raised in a big family in Hamilton, Ontario. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty as well her older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's four brothers, all very active, took part in hockey during the winter months and played baseball in the summer, so that she grew up playing in parks and arenas. Ashley was never a walker, she was a dancer, and when she was just two years old, she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley was captivated by dancing at the age of. Ashley continued to dance competitively until her high-school graduation at the top levels of competitions, such as tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop and many more. She won the top soloist awards at all of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
