Forbes magazine named Addison Rae as the most popular TikToker worldwide in August 2020. She is also one the most popular users on TikTok. Addison Rae's popularity on TikTok is extended to other platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. She made her debut as a singer when she released the single Obsessed in 2021. It peaked at the top of 4 on the New Zealand Hot Singles chart and was the sixth most popular video on YouTube in the days following it's launch. Addison Rae has also received nominations for prestigious awards like the People's Choice Awards MTV Movie & TV Awards as well as Kids Choice Awards.
