Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, born in Decatur the state of Illinois on the 23rd July 1971 is a popular and wealthy Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the earliest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss, born July 23, 1971 is an American musician and singer. She was a teenager when she made her debut in the music world and was a winner of local contests as early as 10 years of age and recording her first album at the age of 14 years. In 1985 she was signed by Rounder Records. Her first solo album debuted in 1987. The album was also a part of the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she still performs. In 1989, she released her first solo album, her first solo album debuted in conjunction with the band.
